Deputies reported that the 96-year-old driver of a Ford F150 pickup truck was traveling east on 58th Avenue when he failed to stop at the intersection with County Road 657. As a result, his truck was broadsided by a Chevrolet Silverado headed northbound.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The force of the collision caused the F150 to strike a Nissan NV200 work van, which had been stopped at the stop sign on westbound 58th Avenue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Authorities say the driver of the Ford F150 was partially ejected through the back window of the truck cab, as he was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash. He was pronounced dead at the scene.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At this time, it is unclear whether a medical incident played a role in the crash, though the Sheriff\u2019s Office has not ruled out this possibility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The two occupants of the Chevrolet Silverado were taken to a local hospital with injuries that are not considered life-threatening.
