BYRON TOWNSHIP, Mich. \u2014 Authorities are investigating after a body was discovered in a wooded area of Byron Township. The Kent County Sheriff\u2019s Office confirmed that the deceased is a man in his late 30s. His body was recovered from Rush Creek, located off Kenowa Avenue near 64th Street.<\/p>\n

Deputies are currently working to determine how the body ended up in the wooded area and the cause of death. At this time, the circumstances surrounding the incident remain unclear.<\/p>\n

An autopsy is scheduled to take place this week to help provide more insight into the situation. The Kent County Sheriff\u2019s Office has not released further details as the investigation continues.<\/p>\n
