GRAND RAPIDS, MI \u2013 The Grand Rapids Police Department (GRPD) is investigating a shooting that occurred Sunday evening, leaving a man in critical condition.<\/p>\n

At approximately 6:45 p.m., police were called to the scene on Batchawana Street SE, near Englewood Avenue, just off 28th Street, following reports of gunfire. Upon arriving, officers discovered a man who had been shot and immediately transported him to a nearby hospital for treatment.<\/p>\n

As of 11:15 p.m. on Sunday, the victim\u2019s condition remained critical, according to GRPD. No further details about the shooting or the identity of the victim have been released.<\/p>\n
