Gaines Township, MI \u2013 A 26-year-old Allendale man has died following a motorcycle crash near Caledonia on Sunday evening.<\/p>\n

According to the Kent County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were called to the scene at approximately 5:22 p.m. after a collision involving a motorcycle and a minivan. The crash occurred on Kalamazoo Avenue, just north of 100th Street in Gaines Township.<\/p>\n

Investigators say both vehicles were traveling northbound when the accident occurred. The motorcyclist, who was identified as a 26-year-old male from Allendale, suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.<\/p>\n

The driver of the minivan, a 41-year-old woman from Caledonia, sustained minor injuries and did not require immediate medical attention.<\/p>\n

Authorities have not yet released further details regarding the cause of the crash, and the incident remains under investigation.<\/p>\n

The Kent County Sheriff’s Office is urging anyone with information about the crash to come forward.<\/p>\n
