The Kalamazoo County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene of the stabbing around 4:30 p.m. at a manufactured home community off 4th Street, south of Stadium Drive. Deputies arrived to find a 45-year-old man with multiple stab wounds. Fortunately, the injuries were not life-threatening, and the victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment.

Authorities later located and took a 36-year-old woman into custody nearby. She was booked into the Kalamazoo County Jail, where she is currently being held while the investigation continues.

The Kalamazoo County Sheriff’s Office is actively investigating the circumstances surrounding the stabbing. Deputies are urging anyone with information about the incident to come forward.
