ANTWERP TOWNSHIP, Mich. — A 38-year-old man from Lawton was arrested on Wednesday evening after he was found driving a stolen all-terrain vehicle (ATV) south of Paw Paw, according to the Van Buren County Sheriff’s Office.
Around 8 p.m., deputies were patrolling the area of Ewing Road and County Road 665 when they observed the ATV being operated on the road. Upon pulling over the driver, deputies discovered that his license had been suspended. Further investigation revealed that the ATV had recently been reported stolen.
As deputies conducted a search of the vehicle, they uncovered methamphetamine and narcotics paraphernalia. The driver was subsequently arrested and booked into the Van Buren County Jail. He faces charges of possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine and driving with a suspended license.
