GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — A man lost his life Wednesday evening in a fatal motorcycle crash on the city’s northwest side.
At approximately 6 p.m., the Grand Rapids Police Department responded to reports of a crash on the 1400 block of 4th Street NW, near Hill Avenue NW. Upon arrival, officers discovered a three-wheeled motorcycle that had been involved in a single-vehicle accident.
The driver, whose identity and age have not been released, was found dead at the scene. Authorities confirmed that he did not survive the crash.
Details surrounding the cause of the incident remain unclear, as the investigation is still ongoing. Police have not yet specified the factors that may have contributed to the accident, and they are urging anyone with information to come forward.
