PEACOCK TOWNSHIP, Mich. — Authorities are seeking the public’s assistance in locating Jack Albert Peterson, a 67-year-old man from Lake County who has been missing since Sunday.

Peterson, who stands 6 feet 6 inches tall and weighs approximately 200 pounds, was last seen near the intersection of Irons Road and 4 Mile Road in Irons. He has green eyes and brown graying hair.

According to the Michigan State Police, Peterson left his vehicle, phone, and other personal belongings at home before his disappearance. Officials have expressed concern for his well-being, noting that Peterson suffers from Parkinson’s disease.

Law enforcement urges anyone with information regarding Peterson’s whereabouts to contact Lake County Central Dispatch at 231-745-2711.

The search for Peterson remains ongoing as the community hopes for his safe return.
