Fatal Crash Claims Life of Delton Woman in Barry Township

Barry Township, Mich. – A 25-year-old woman lost her life in a tragic crash early Sunday morning, authorities said.

At approximately 2:10 a.m., deputies from the Barry County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene of a single-vehicle accident in the area of Orchard Road and Kingsbury Road in Barry Township. Upon arrival, deputies discovered that the driver of a 2011 Chrysler 200 had been traveling eastbound on Orchard Road when the vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree.

The driver, later identified as 25-year-old Kaylee Ward-Justice of Delton, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation as officials work to determine what led to the fatal incident. No additional details have been released at this time.

Ward-Justice’s death has left the local community shaken, with many expressing their condolences to her family and friends. The Barry County Sheriff’s Office continues to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.
